Brooklyn Artist Jeremy Penn Exhibits New Art at Hamptons Pop-up "Below the Barn"
New York City artist Jeremy Penn seems to deliver something brand new every summer in the Hamptons. In 2014, he partnered with Disaronno and painted live at The Capri in Southampton. In 2015, Jeremy Penn took up an art residency at the Montauk Beach House where he exhibited his work in the lobby and painted a mural poolside. In 2016, Penn was asked to fill the walls of hottest restaurants and clubs in the Hamptons. He also had a solo show at the Dorian Grey Gallery Pop up in Watermill and painted live and auctioned off 4 paintings at Super Saturday's charity event benefiting OCRFA (Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance).
It was in 2017 where he unveiled something brand new. Art that has been inspired by Penn's deep meditative practice. The art was a mixture of sculptures that refract light with diamond dust and pieces made of mirror polished gold aluminum that reflect an image of yourself within the work. The exhibition was held in the Lululemon Pop up space "Below the Barn" beneath SoulCycle in Bridgehampton, NY.
